The information on the MRI Guwahati website, including service descriptions, blog articles, and FAQs, is provided for general awareness only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified medical professional.

1. We do not provide medical advice

MRI Guwahati is a digital booking platform. We do not employ doctors, do not perform scans, and do not issue radiology reports. All medical decisions, including the choice of scan, the use of contrast, and the interpretation of reports, must be made by a qualified medical professional who knows your full clinical history.

2. Reports are issued by partner centres

MRI scan reports are written and signed off by qualified radiologists at our partner centres. We are not responsible for the medical content, accuracy, or interpretation of the report. Any clinical questions about the report must be discussed with your referring doctor or with the radiologist at the partner centre.

3. Information is general, not personalised

Articles and pages on this site discuss MRI scans in general terms. They cannot account for your specific medical history, medications, allergies, or other conditions. Do not start, stop, or change any medical treatment based on what you read here.

4. Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, including severe chest pain, sudden weakness on one side of the body, sudden vision loss, sudden severe headache, or any condition that may be immediately life-threatening, do not book a scan online. Go to the nearest hospital emergency department or call 108.

5. Pregnancy and special situations

If you are pregnant, may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding, tell the partner centre at booking and again at the centre. The radiologist will decide whether to proceed and whether contrast is appropriate.

6. Implants and devices

If you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, cochlear implant, surgical clips in the brain, or any metal in your body, you must disclose this before the scan. The centre will determine whether the scan is safe based on the device specifications. We are not responsible for any complication arising from undisclosed implants.

7. Reliance on information

Reliance on any information provided on this site is solely at your own risk. MRI Guwahati, its partners, and content authors disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the information.
